The BMW X5 is their middle range SUV SAV. It has massive road presence and has a M variant available in India to make the beast truly menacing.

This variant focusses on some much needed styling and tech updates.

The BMW X5 SportX variant is available in both petrol and diesel engines.

The Petrol variant – The BMW X5 xDrive45i SportX is powered by a 3 litre, inline 6 cylinder engine that churns out 340 bhp and 450 Nm of torque. This engine makes the BMW X5 touch 100 kmph from 0 in 5.5 seconds.

The Diesel variant – The BMW X5 xDrive30d SportX is also powered by a 3 litre, inline 6 cylinder engine that puts out 265 hp and massive 620 Nm of torque. From standstill this can make the X5 sprint to 100 kmph in 6.5 seconds.

Both engines are powered by BMW TwinPower Turbo.

Both engines are mated to an 8 speed Steptronic auto box.
