As per this move, owners of the C-Class manufactured from June to November 2021 and S-Class built during the same period can now use the Mercedes MBUX Zero Layer, installing it using the over-the-air update (OTA). For example, the driver talks to family daily in the S or C-Class Mercedes model of the Zero Layer system. Apart from radio/media, telephony, and navigation, there are about 20 functions that the AI-centric Mercedes MBUX Zero Layer offers. Some of them will include ‘ENERGIZING COMFORT’ programmes, allowing you to experience a relaxing massage, especially during the long journey. You can receive status queries from smart home devices connected from home. More importantly, it was in 2021 that the MBUX Zero Layer system made its debut in the all-electric EQS and EQE Mercedes models. Although, now it has also become integral in the C Class (series 206) and S Class (series 223 including Maybach) models manufactured in the 2020-21 year.
