Jaguar Land Rover India today launched the 2021 Range Rover Velar in the country at a starting price of Rs 79.87 lakh (ex-showroom, India). While the 2021 Range Rover Velar deliveries have already commenced in India, the customers can book the SUV online by visiting Land Rover India's website. 

The 2021 Range Rover Velar is being offered in the R-Dynamic S variant only with Ingenium 2.0-litre petrol and diesel powertrain options. The petrol engine develops 250PS of maximum power and 365Nm of peak torque. The diesel mill produces 204PS of maximum power and 430Nm of peak torque. Both the motors are mated to an automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

The 2021 Range Rover Velar petrol can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 7.50 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 217kmph. The 2021 Range Rover Velar diesel can complete a 0-100kmph sprint in 8.20 seconds, with its claimed top speed being 210kmph.

The 2021 Range Rover Velar has been loaded with new features like 3D surround camera, electronic air suspension and cabin air ionisation with PM2.5 filter. It also gets the new Pivi Pro infotainment system and Active Road Noise Cancellation technology.
