BMW starts production of the BMW 1 Series & BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe in individual paint work finishes, with choices of upto 160 colours at their Leipzig Plant. What began as a motto of an associate initiative on diversity awareness amongst the members in Leipzig plant, now has gained additional momentum with the motto- “Cars as colourful as us”, literally being extended to individual car paints.

After a successful launch of Defender 110, Jaguar Land Rover India has announced that the sales of Defender 90 have begun in India today. The Defender 90 is on hand available in three powertrain options: 2.0-litre petrol supplying a power of 296 hp and torque of 400 Nm, 3.0-litre petrol delivering a power of 394 hp and torque of 550 Nm and 3.0-litre diesel dispensing a power of 296 hp and torque of 650 Nm. The prices of the Defender 90 will be starting from ₹ 76.57 lakh, ex-showroom in India.
Jaguar Land Rover India has announced the debut of Range Rover Sport SVR in India, priced at Rs. 2.19cr (ex-showroom India). It is developed by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations and comes to India as a CBU from Coventry, UK. It is said to be the most powerful, dynamic and fastest Land Rover ever produced.
The all-electric Jaguar I-PACE successfully completed the ‘Everesting Challenge’ by climbing 8,848m – the height of Mount Everest – on a single charge. The performance SUV was driven by Olympic and World champion cyclist, Elinor Barker MBE. The Everesting Challenge is simple, yet extreme: complete a series of runs climbing an incline until achieving an elevation gain of 8,848m – equal to the height of Mount Everest. The popularity of this endurance challenge boomed among cyclists during the pandemic.
Audi takes one more step forward into electric mobility launches three new electric SUVs in India. Audi enters the EV space in India with the launch of its luxury electric SUV, the e-tron, which is available in two body styles – e-tron and e-tron Sportback. The e-tron is available in e-tron 50 and e-tron 55 variants, the e-tron Sportback has a single e-tron 55 variants.
